Blackbriar 8,569
Well, my prediction was wrong ! Looks like the damage she was doing by staying was greater than the damage to the PM by resigning ? So, will the focus of the immigration fiasco turn on the previous incumbent.........what was her name again ? Or is this to take the focus away from a weak PM ? scothunter 12,609
She had no other option she lied and the guardian had proof. She was meant to go answer to that tomorrow. She resigned because she'd painted herself into a corner she couldn't get out of - she misled (lied to) parliament. Of all the things politicians can get up to, that is the cardinal sin.

Blackbriar 8,569
The new man in charge of immigration is Sajiv Javid, a man of Pakistani descent. Who says the PM doesn't have a sense of humour ?
