got to confess the stocks do look boring... this is a new 97 I stripped the stock and darkened it up! and me 95  easy to do

Indeed mate, just a new gun itch?

Hello, no point getting a 77 if you already have a Pro Sport.  You really need to handle the Hw80 and the Hw95.  I reckon you would be heading towards a 95. The Hw80 is more for FAC power an

I just find the pro sport unnecessarily heavy. Even with a sling I feel it'd be a lump to carry about?

Just like the idea of trying something different

Ah, It's a new gun itch then ;)

In that case, there's better people to advise you on here than me

Good luck

Those look nicer mate. I think the stain and lacquer they were using up until a few years ago were far nicer looking than what they look like now

I just prefer the 95 with the stock from only a few years ago. Since around 2015/16 they've changed the stocks on most of their models such as the 95,99 and 77 and find they have no grain pattern and don't even look like wood like the walthur air guns. Absolutely cannot stand the look of the new 77 stock. It's awful?

The top one is the stock design kicking about now

And the bottom one is the one with the older style stock from 2015ish with imo the nicer checkering and without that awful ambidextrous cheek piece

Tbh mate it’s not just the wood I just really don’t like the checkering pattern or that cheek piece. Makes it look ugly. Maybe there is grain there but I don’t like the finish on the newer weihrauchs, but that’s just my opinion. Could be these stock images that everyone uses making it look rather bland tho

They’re all good, but I prefer the 99s because it’s lighter. Some people prefer heavy rifles, but I can carry the 99s around and shoot it unsupported easier than i can a heavy one. Tuned it and fitted a set back trigger and custom thumbhole stock and it’s a nice little break barrel I reckon. Lovely and smooth to shoot as well.

I’ve heard good things about the 99 mind. Myself, I just prefer a little more heft but not too much

Neither, buy a Walther LGV/LGU and see what a spring rifle can be like when put together properly ( unlike modern day HWs ) seriously mate, at least go and hold/shoot one.

Might do mate, They're good shooters like. But I'm looking at more older weihrauchs now I've been looking more into it but I'll take your advice and at least shoot one

Out of the three HW95k and would go with .22 I find it shoots better in that cal .

HW80 is more suited to fac levels

99 and 35 both nice  gun as well specially  with a nice CS stock .

Like many have said HW97 is hard to beat with a little bit of spit and polish

Or you could buy them all !!

A slight twist on your thoughts, I know but a FWB Sport 124 ( seek and you will find) in .177 cal is an utter pest controller`s rifle.

At just 7lbs in weight and running at 11.7 ft/lbs, smooth, accurate, very hard hitting , German and with the older looks :good:

As for your Pro Sport, keep her mate, that rifle is not one to let go of.

I was planning to mate haha but I've never really seen any of those but still heard good words. Cheers for the heads up?
