You have your opinion on it, and that is fine. But clearly you have never heard about cape buffalo...because if you have, you will know that it is one of the most dangerous hunts out there, and that is where the "buzz" comes into play. Dont be fooled by a foto, it takes alot of work to get fotos like these inside of hunting areas. They most certainly do not just stand there.

But it still comes to the fact , that to shoot one these beast's either on foot or from a vehicle , with the guns there have today to kill something as big as this , it still be at safe shot. all of the big 8 animals that killed out there, are not really wild animals , in the true sense of the word , ok it brings money in to the country, and the hunting of these animals prob stopped total extinction of the big 8 animals. got a mate who goes all over the world , the last 10-15 years he been on the tiger project , so know bit what goes on over some of these countries. . no not a cow in the field mate , but still a easy thing to shoot and kill. . As i said everybody to there own thing , we all hunt and kill animals , i will leave it at that .!!
keepdiggin 9,559
The Cape buffalo are known to turn the tables and hunt the hunter
Savanna 112
Bird with that logic anything is a cow in a field, because there is a rifle big enough to kill anything out there. So by what you are saying, nothing that us hunters hunt, is wild animals, not the dove getting shot by a shotgun, or the elephant shot with a 577 ne...

Bird, with all due respect that's a very naive thing to say. Why do you think they're nicknamed 'widowmaker' and 'black death' in Africa. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/africaandindianocean/zimbabwe/9324431/British-hunter-killed-by-buffalo-he-was-trying-to-shoot.html https://huntforever.org/2015/05/14/gored-by-a-cape-buffalo/ https://www.africahunting.com/threads/hunter-gored-by-buffalo-warning-graphic-content.38276/ http://allthatsinteresting.com/claude-kleynhans-killed-by-buffalo There many, many more stories and videos of people being killed by buff. Comparing it to a big cow makes no sense.

Stag75 9
Yep. There are a few videos of hunters being charged and gored by them too. PH's are killed by them occasionally. That's why I disagree with comparing them to a friesian cow!

Everytime I hunt one, we take the shin meat and make a big stew together with garlic, tomatoes and onions. It cooks for about 6 hours over a fire in a big black pot, but it is worth the wait...the rest goes to the communities
