College ?  Doing well ?  university ?  not acting like a f***ing idiot?  Dare I say it the army ?  The world is your oyster at 16 /17 with no ties or obligations

Are these people genetically predisposed to turn every place they live into a shithouse?......history certainly points that way !

The fact of the matter is that this is probably NOT a waste of young life or potential......closer to the truth is that they were probably involved with street gangs themselves. As for national s

By moving the goalposts to increase the number of criminals by use of language?

I was only being a little bit facetious !

I meant longer term initiatives to reduce future criminality. There are societal and cultural influences that will take a long time, and a lot of money, to undo !

Lack of prospects, poor educational achievement, gang 'culture', the influence of rap "music", poor parenting, lack of respect for the law and the police, etc etc etc.........

All of these (and other issues) have to be implemented, along with shorter term tactics, like the return to community policing,  increased stop and search in hot spot areas, punishment for a first offence of possession (not the 4th or 5th !) etc etc etc.........

What I'm trying to say is that there isn't A solution !

What is deal with all these fantasy knifes, zombie killers an apocalypse weapons? I went a few years back to clear a garden for one of the largest landowners around here, to say this guy an his family are rich is an understatement ? anyways on arriving I was greeted with this real posh specky geek, who was a real nice guy an after a chat he asked if his sons could watch, of course I said, your paying the bill sir?  he then disappeared into his converted church house, an two young lads come out an watched me setting up the longnets, then there ole man appeared again with a katana sized weapon with spikes cloning out along thwith blade an back if it, must have had about 30 diff cutting surfaces on it???? I walked over to him an said wtf is that? an he smiled an said great ain’t it?? I asked him for a look an took it off him an chucked it in a hedge behind the ferret box an that an told him if he wanted to hold that whilst I was ferreting he would need to sit in hedge with it??

seems they everywhere now tho, seen em in the strangest a shops an places for sale, wonder if I’ll ever be sat at home one day an see a zombie run past window an think fcuk sake, why didn’t I get a few a them???

Gotcha! :good:

I can't argue with that, mate, I'm just surprised they've gone straight for the legislative jugular. It's the highest profile for sure but without tackling all the usual sh*t that they fail to tackle it's just more laws that they're completely incapable of enforcing. Just like the current ones. If they were a corporation they'd have gone bankrupt many times over.
