If there is one thing in this world that’s Arabs know how to deal with its other Arabs......why we have to go over there peddling our brand of shit when our own countries are in a f***ing shit state o

And as utterly f***ing bonkers as it seems there is a tiny glimpse of potential success in that strategy. His twitter war with the DPRK is well known and well criticised and yet for the first time in

Yup sure does mate. Not all good. I count my blessings that I wasn't born into one of those hell holes.

Was he killed by a roadside bomb?

No idea mate. Apparently he wasn't the only casuality so quite possible. One of three or four dead iirc, the others Americans.

Wasting our best young talent in a situation that we shouldn't be involved in. Just use a cruise straight up through Assad's front door. It would have saved tens of thousands of lives and years of misery. Why do we keep getting  involved. What did / do we get out of iraq, lybia, Afghanistan or Syria?  Its just a mess that we keep stirring  up.  We moan about Muslim   attacks on us but what would we do and think if a foreign power came and dropped a bomb on our towns and villages killing out friends and family.

Agree with my brother in somuch as that lad will have been doing exactly what he wanted to do......what better way to check out.

I dont personally think we should be involved in the likes of Syria, Libya blah blah blah but I have learned that it has nothing to do with lads wanting and getting to do the job they signed up to do.

Personally we can talk about IS when they start nicking the scum at home instead of kissing their arse and making the odd token arrest

FYI they're not fighting Assad, they're fighting IS. As worthy a war as there ever was imo.

Worthy for who my friend ?

If we are weighing in on the subject I don’t personally think our government has gone to war for “the right reason” since the first Gulf War.

When it comes to our outstanding troops, I think they ALWAYS go for the right reason.

They without fail always go and make some good happen even if the reason for them being there is highly questionable.

They showcase the last bastion of everything that’s good about Britain.

The wars themselves?, lies and bollocks dreamed up by politicians who’s sons and daughters will never have to go and experience the sharp end of the mess their esteemed parents create !

Funny that because it usually is a bomb falling out of the same plane that will hit her even if she has nothing to do with the conflict

Anyone fighting it. But particularly those who have lost their lives in it, like Sgt Matt Tonroe, and would have their contribution called "a waste". Mate I don't think this is the place to get into a debate over the ins and outs of this particular deployment of British troops and a comparison to all that preceeded it. We'll all just have to accept that I support this one and plenty other do not. Cleaning up a shitty mess that 'we' started.
