Guest Ditch_Shitter
Olds; Dec 28th was the day one of my own Dogs went down, mate. I was so f*cked up that night and there after I never even registered it was You posting. I just couldn't take two dead Dogs so soon and averted my eyes. Now I see. Shit. At least I still have my other Dogs around me. Our life goes on. Losing a young prospect like that though, I know, is a special, terrible hurt. It's all been said, mate. Nothing for it but to feel gutted. Once it starts to ease, start planning ye fresh start. Look for another. Life without those we lose can never be the same, man. But life without? That is not 'Life'. It's all doors, isn't it? I lost three Dogs last year. Gained two. I'm actually sitting here, even as I type this, thinking; " Well: I'll have to get another, to fill That one's role. And ..... Oh well; I guess I'd best try again for something to fit the other ones bill ...... " How it is with Dogs and men, Old. We out live them time and again. That's why we mustn't waste a minute of the time we have with them. And ye'll have another. And the times will be good. And long. Quote Link to post
