If ur just wanting a ferreting dog ur prob better off with a collie or beddie x ghd. Quote Link to post
Guest bigredbusa Posted December 28, 2007 Report Share Posted December 28, 2007 dont listen to the anti bullcross , they will do what you want , they are not a hare dog but have feet and legs like scaffold poles and will pick up rabbits while ferreting quite easy , also if you would of come across anything else preban they wouldnt of held back . my old first cross 1st gen always made a mess of the first rabbit but after that had quite a soft mouth , anything else mind ........ different story oh and when we are talking about bullcross i think we should say that these are staff cross Quote Link to post

ASME IX 1 Posted December 31, 2007 Report Share Posted December 31, 2007 depends on the dog i guess, they no daytime coursing dog but i wouldnt say they are slow,pure bred bull terriers are prety fast for the first 50 yards or so,i found this out when a track bitch i used to have strugled to shake of a pursuing staff on the school field Quote Link to post

Never been on hare so not sure but rabbits they do easy. Just had a litter of 5/8 3/8 and have been told that they will do hare. Quote Link to post
