what is the accepted measure to be “far right” ?

It's a fluid measure that is as variable as the perception of the news source.

It is funny to be called both a communist and a nazi in the same group conversation because you're to the left of one participant and to the right of another.

Communism has always been anti Semitic......no great surprise about that. However, this thing with corbyn really is a storm about f**k all as usual......another non story from our esteemed media.

An easy mistake to make

A educated man is not always a wise man , that's not a dig at Chris I'm   just saying education and wisdom are very different things

When did the AFD become “far right” and what is the accepted measure to be “far right” ?

I mean, is there some kind of test you have to pass or is it good enough for the likes of the guardian or some EU paid supporter to say so?

Just gloss over the elephant in the room.

If there was, I'm pretty sure I'd get an A* !

Any movement that begins to rally mass support will immediately be dubbed "far right" or "extremist"..........if they fail, there's always "neo Nazi" to fall back on !

Far right is only an interpretation of nationalism. I'm a nationalist therefore must be far right .

It's an inaccurate one. You can be a pro-Britain without being far right.

Not if a difference is to be made and the reason we are sliding into third world slums mate .Nationalism comes with a price .You have to be prepared to stand up for it something Britain is lacking in spadefuls .We are a nation of talkers that will be our undoing ,is our undoing .Nationalism to me means speaking out against whats happening not grumbling down the pub to a group of sheep .I' m not racist ,I just want  our country back .

But you should be able to do that under most isms.

Nationalism is an ideology that puts the country/homeland first in politics, social, and economic development. Patriotism is the ideology of attachment to that homeland.

You can still be a nationalist patriot without being 'far right' but because buzzwords rarely require critical thinking most people think far right is a combination of everything they don't like. If you look at Beck's scale in the clip above he defines far right as too much government power/force. I like that particular analogy as it covers tyranny in whatever guise it comes in. Far left on his scale is anarchy. Zero government.

It challenges traditional definition but now alternative facts is a thing f*ck it, why not?
