Thats a nice looking thing mate but could never work out why anyone feels the need to breed a reverse 3/4 bred

Nether could I if I'm honest ds, it would of been as useful as a chocolate fireguard to me but I seen it graft and I have to say it was a nice athletic type for the way it was bred, I'd seen a whole lot worse 1/2 xs if I'm honest so I used him.

We had a 5/8 bull 3/8 grey which was the foundation bitch in the dogs we keep now. An absolute machine and one of the best bull x I’ve seen.

Not knocking you for using it mate as you did probably the only sensible thing to do and used it straight on a greyhound.Just cant see what anyones hoping to achieve by breeding one in the first place.

I see what ds is saying the right sort of half x can be abit too much for most sorts of hunting cant it anymore bull than half just seems a waste

At the end of the day if your half crosses cant work everything that the uk has to hunt then they need shooting not breeding back to a bulldog.

Have you bred back to her and kept it tight, or just out crossed her?

Morning, taken a step back from quad bikes and hounds - Don’t need the grief anymore. Having moved house my country has changed, curious of those that do hunt the hills with their lurches and a terrier at your heel, how do you bring them on? Getting the right dog for the job is no brainier but what about the training? Thanks.

      **sorry for the double post**
I know I'm probably going to get the piss severely ripped out of me for asking this, but
Has anyone ever successfully trained a deaf lurcher (from two working parents and I own her 4 year old sister who is an awesome little bunny basher.)
Genetically she has potential, but...what do you experts think?
She's not a Double merle by the way, it's extreme piebald/white head. Her vision is perfect
