Thanks pal. I ended up giving the young black dog to a pal and taking a bitch from him instead. He was coming abit bully for why I need him for. The bitch is bull whip grey and flying on fox.

F@@k it , up for a laugh , I’m a bit of a stalker , and since asking for a bit of info , which in hindsight was a bit of a no go ,have enjoyed  reading the banter , the squabbles (although not really sure what’s going on half the time , but it’s better than Corrie ) and mostly the informative posts ,interested in certain aspects , more bunnies, but only reading about it , wouldn’t dream of letting little man on one ,unless you can catch them on lead?  …. only ever taken ferreting once resulting in a lost ferret and nil in the bag and a crap shot with my air rifle so sold that …. Newest designer breed a bull lounger 28 weeks ,20” tts and 25kgs / 55lb  ….. lays around a lot , kills toys , ladies love him though ? … no need to reply … I’ll get my coat ?

Is that good or bad lol  ?  .He can move when he wants too but prob that’s more me because I’m more used to Rottweilers and German shepherds oh and little miss jrt in the first pic , he’s probably not quite as trim as you all keep your dogs either, but  you can feel his ribs and he dips in like he should at his waist .   ….. the greyhound whippet just  doesn’t seem to be showing much ? … he is more lunker than lurcher … I’m gonna steal that and tell people he’s a bull lunker ??

I wouldn’t know where to begin tbh and with my anxiety I’d be worried about him coming back in daylight let alone in the dark , he’s got a  strong prey drive and is very Kevin and Perry at the moment but he’s a quick learner (when he wants to at the mo ) it’s more the trainer that’s lacking , know what to do on paper but can’t pull  it all  off when it comes  to practice on certain things .

Morning, taken a step back from quad bikes and hounds - Don’t need the grief anymore. Having moved house my country has changed, curious of those that do hunt the hills with their lurches and a terrier at your heel, how do you bring them on? Getting the right dog for the job is no brainier but what about the training? Thanks.

      **sorry for the double post**
I know I'm probably going to get the piss severely ripped out of me for asking this, but
Has anyone ever successfully trained a deaf lurcher (from two working parents and I own her 4 year old sister who is an awesome little bunny basher.)
Genetically she has potential, but...what do you experts think?
She's not a Double merle by the way, it's extreme piebald/white head. Her vision is perfect
