Yeah she's not like any 3/8 5/8 I've owned and run in the past she doesn't run well carry to much weight so I have to try and run her on the bottom end she's got a fair bit of stamina though once she's fit got plenty of drive and she's game enough let's you know if she's spotted something

That's it the extra weight is handy for some things.but the speed and turning is compromised then.its a catch 22 really we can't have weight strength and speed all in 1.

I'm gona be honest mate I don't know the percentages acquired her off a lad I know back end of last season he's not really a running dog person he had her off a lad who had to get the feck out of dodge I ended up with her she was was around 18month when I had her she did bits and bobs had a bumpy patch with me at 1 point I realised she had damaged her toe but she was still killing game on 3 legs I'm happy with her he did say to me 3/8 5/8 but she is pretty racey well proportioned so I'd say she's more to grey hound

It looks well put together ?

I’ve seen this bitch graft and that she does. Not just a one trick pony and like penda says I’m suprised how good her stamina is. Seems to recover well after each run. She’s had a decent back end of season really mate. Back at it next one ??. Apart from our last cheeky one tomoz as we got a little storm coming. ?

Yeah I'm happy with the way she's turned out surprised she's got this far with the way she runs and my track record with losing dogs before there time ?

Morning, taken a step back from quad bikes and hounds - Don’t need the grief anymore. Having moved house my country has changed, curious of those that do hunt the hills with their lurches and a terrier at your heel, how do you bring them on? Getting the right dog for the job is no brainier but what about the training? Thanks.

      **sorry for the double post**
I know I'm probably going to get the piss severely ripped out of me for asking this, but
Has anyone ever successfully trained a deaf lurcher (from two working parents and I own her 4 year old sister who is an awesome little bunny basher.)
Genetically she has potential, but...what do you experts think?
She's not a Double merle by the way, it's extreme piebald/white head. Her vision is perfect
