I suppose it depends whether you class lamping as a sport or hunting , then if you are in it to get numbers or not . Only ever see the odd rabbit daytime and they are always close to cover ,rabbits don't play sport ,why should I

 lamping you will always see more stuff and a lot less prying eyes on you as well plus the fact most lads will be at work during the daytime.
