Jonnyb6161 80
Old argument I know but having both, I would like to weigh in with my thoughts. When I'm shooting well (by my standards) the HW 97 is fantastic but far more hold sensitive than the TX. I can spend an hour not being able to hit a cow's arse, then suddenly click and hit half inch groups at 50 metres. I'll then go for a fag break and I'll be back to square 1. Today I took out my TX for it's first outing, zeroed bang on in 6 shots and proceeded to hit everything on the range with ease. All that, straight from the box with only the shop's chrony test pellets through it. Even after a break, I carried on where I left off. I can't believe how good it is. The only thing I would possibly change is to make the trigger a bit heavier as sometimes it would release too easily. Any thoughts? 3 Quote Link to post

Jonnyb6161 80
It's too early to say for sure but after today, for me, it's not even close (TX by lightyears). Prosport is out of the question coz you can't get new lefties. 1 Quote Link to post

villaman 9,983
What cal are you shooting jonny ? I find my 97 .177 is a lot harder to get good groups than my .22 Quote Link to post
Jonnyb6161 80
It's .177 the same as my 97. I shot 2 groups of 10 shots at 50m. Both groups under an inch and a half. I have only managed that once with the 97. Quote Link to post
