Rabbits 3 Dogs 0

Recommended Posts

Took the dogs out for a quick hour to a local spot, I didn’t expect too much, the rabbits here get hit pretty hard and are educated or dead.

I put the nets on one hole without success, ferrets killed it underground’ no chance of digging that ground, tried a few more with no nets and mooched around a bit Dogs got a few runs a couple of close calls but the rabbits all won the day.

Sometimes the ones that get away are the best to watch, was another fun walk with the dogs and ferrets. PS Pick up the new pup Fleet tomorrow can't wait.

Good luck tomoz with pup bud. Atb

Thanks mate! It’s a 16 hour drive round trip, so I’m going to camp overnight on the Murray River at Albury, and throw the lines in, a lot of fish in that area, also taking the other two dogs for company.

I will be a happy chappie!

Should do better with the two fast dogs.

I usually run two, I love watching them work as a team, and you are right two is better than one. The brown bitch has her uses, but running them down isn’t one of them.

Didn't mean to be smart saying that, just found 2 whippet types work well together and try to out do each other.Been taking my parsons out with my bitch and he's been catching more than her as she turns them, but miss my other runner.

I agree mate, most of my life i have run 2 up, so I hear ya.

Will be good when the pup starts to work with Zip they learn to work off each other too.

Personally i prefer to run them doubled up & if you get a pair that work well together is great. When i had both beddy whipps working together it was generally the slower one that caught as faster one turned the quarry. They were a good team. I know alot of people prefer single handed but each to there own. Safe journey bud & hope you catch your dinner. Atb

Me to mate, been about 6 years since I’ve had two sound running dogs up and going at once, I really enjoy daytime stuff with two.  Fun times ahead once the pup is going too
