Speed or Stamina?

What impresses you more in a dog, break neck speed or endless stamina? I personally like a dog that is up and at em from the get go.

Tbh I've never had a heavy Saluki saturated Lurcher so don't know how it would do on my local fields.

Not all about speed or stamina sometimes just takes a Clever dog. I' rather an average dog at both with brains

Break neck speed is exactly that I would rather a dog use its head when running and out the two I would say stamina providing you have the graft a dog doesn't have to be super fit to run a dozen rabbits

Depends on what YOU want from a night or day out. Always found a steady away dog with stamina has met my needs.

what ever impresses you does not mater a dog needs both its as simple as that, a fast rabbiting dog is very exiting to watch but may have lots of runs in a session, so needs stamina for that, a coursing dog on the other hand will be having fewer runs but they will likely last longer, so he needs stamina in a different way, l  like an up and at em type and clever enough to know when to apply pressure and when to hold back and use stamina, fast stupid dogs fail slow clever dogs prevail.
