well ive racked up a few rifles now and its time to thin the collection out....

first going not by any fault of its own is the fx streamline, its not been used out in the field for at least 6 months and I need the space in my safe!!

ive taken it out and given it a good check over... the airs still at the same level it was when put away, so I did a few shots on paper to see if the barrel needed a pull through but all's good

although this rifle is shrouded it's not super quiet but non of the other shrouded rifles ive shot have been either!

so I use to use the spare hw mod I had when rabbiting, its as quiet as a mouse's fart with it fitted but it makes the setup look clumsy so ive made a streamline one out of carbon

for the new owner!

not as quiet as the hw when dry firing but when slinging lead theres nothing in it, it's way sleeker and 1/3 of the weight,,, im well happy with it

after doing a few tests ive been thinking ytf am I getting rid??? im a clumsy tw@t thats why I dont really do free floating barrels!

1 full mag... 9 in the middle turning out a healthy 11.7 with 8.4's

all's good and ready for re homing tomorrow

Ahhh fair enough Jimmy. 

Yes the FX Streamline is now resident in North Lincs after a flying visit up to Scarborough to see our Si which was nice to get together again mate.

From Si, we went over to Pickering to visit a shop my wife likes and also to the RFD who has an offer on Hawke Endurance scopes with approx £100 off the price, well it would rude not to, don't you think so a 5 - 15 x 50 is ready to go on one of the guns but not sure yet as I may well do a shuffle round with the scopes after today's purchase.

I must say the sound mod that Si has made is so effective and weighs nothing so it not only looks good but has almost no added weight to the front end. A sound bit of work that mate.

 

 

 

Really looking forward to getting it set up and on with the pellet testing next week.
