It's not been as bad as you read mate, the weather has,nt got any harder but the people a lot softer, surprisingly hard to walk in snow in skinny jeans tucked into socks, daps and a Tshirt, I was fine

Morrison's were out of brioche cobs last night! I take it back, this is a crisis!

Nowt changed by my end like other then the local shop didn't have any copies of the sun which I'm sure nobody gave a f**k about! People were out in there shorts on bikes the lot even when it was comin

That's a flogging offence eating the dogs grub. Have consideration man !

you going to hell for a thought like that. You are a bad man.

Anyway the snow only lasts for a day at most here so those sort of thoughts don't happen. We've taken precautions to secure provisions for the spaniel  for the foreseeable future.

Snow is gone now and the dog is still wagging her tail in kennel. That's loyalty for ya but it was close. Springer with mushroom in black peppar sauce. Egg fried rice and a portion of noodles.

I bet that spaniel always has an eye on you having wicked thoughts about Springer with mushroom in black peppar sauce. Egg fried rice and a portion of noodles. Your gona burn.

??????

It's too late to go out and say sorry. It's like that M&M sweet advert where the woman is in bed nibbling the M&M and scòtt comes home early !!

I could last for a couple of months, not a prepper or anything like that but I like to be able to look after my own sh#t. People depend on the modern world too much. Have a loft full of home brew, plenty different meats in the chest freezer(which as we know can be replenished without going to a shop), frozen veg/tinned fruit if needed, some bottled water. Enough gear to bake bread for months, plenty dry goods on stock. Candles, gas, stoves, warm clothes etc.

A lot of people would completely fail in a prolonged period of difficulty

I honestly think I could go a year, I've got 3 huge chest freezers full of stuff (mainly meat) I've got about 400 birds of different varieties can go in the oven, cows for milk, grain for flour and bread, plenty of fish, I would run out of fruit and veg before anything else, but am just as happy tucking into a lump of beef than carrots anyway ?

I'm surrounded by lochs and one of the best salmon rivers in Scotland.

Oh and lots of deer.

Failing that I will  just get the riddle out a stick length of string fed  through the letterbox and catch the birds.

Bet a few did that as a kid lol
