Jordan 1
Well this is something that has to be seen to be believed i looked out the window today and saw my dad creeping across the lawn with the 12 bore then i noticed the ground moving a little way ahead of him he was nearly on top of the moving ground which i realised was a mole he pointed the gun almost vertical and fired dirt flew up. i went outside and there he was removing the remains of the mole. I was impressed by this to say the least apparently hes always been able to do it and it started when he was in the garden when he was 15( he's now 57 ) with the 9mm garden gun. i was just wondering wether anyone else knows of anyone who can do this or wether they do it themselves. I know this is not a efficient method of controlling them and reminds me abit of the jasper carrot sketch but it sure is a great party trick. Quote Link to post

Jordan 1
:11: :11: the way he does it wouldnt work as the pellets wouldnt penetrate the earth they would just bounce off because of the angle :11: Quote Link to post

moley 115
i,v shot hundreds over the years , i used to poison moles about 20 years ago and carried a folding 20 bore just for shooting moles that were working, now i just trap and find it more effective , so no need for the gun,i still shoot an odd one when i,m out and about.
