The dangers of aspirin.

This is what happened to my bitch when she took a pack of Anadin out of my tool box. It nearly killed her. 

To make matters worse she just had an op the day before. 

I'm bloody sick and gutted that it happened to her. Never thought about them. You just can't be to careful. 

Hopefully she will make a full recovery.

I'd be lost without her as she come everywhere with me. Great little worker but a pure pet and joy to own and have around.

So just a warning to thoes who don't know about aspirin.  It's a killer for dogs. 

This happened just after one tab.

Yeah she's fairly sick at the moment.

I'm hand feeding her and syringeing water and electrolyte into her. She's on pain killers as well. 

I'm sick with my self. Just hoping she pulls through.

She was spayed 

But after taking the table her blood thinned out so much that she started bleeding from the op. 

So the vet said bandage it up till it stops.

Can't believe one anadin did that, gutted for you but fingers crossed she makes a full recovery. Just shows you the poison we take .

Aspirin is safe for dogs in the correct dose, my old 30 kg Labrador has 1 320mg tablet a day or half that depending how stiff he is.good luck with your dogs recovery.
