Jonjon79 13,358
I appreciate your sentiments Wyeman ....... I voted leave and, now we're being pissed about. 1000 petitions won't change that but, I will sign them for you. Those in power have already decided how it's going to be and, they'll use all sorts of smoke and mirrors to make sure it happens. ..... The silent majority haven't got the stomach to gather the numbers needed to make any real changes. This bit might sound a bit defeatist but, f**k it - in my honest opinion, you're better of squirelling away as much as you can and taking care of you and yours. walshie 2,804
The last similar petition actually got debated in parliament. Unfortunately they saw fit to only have remainers debating it. When I say debating, I mean talking among themselves about how anyone who signed the petition was an idiot. The sooner we leave the eu circus the better.

scothunter 12,609
I used my democratic vote to leave. They are ignoring it and dragging their feet trying to find away out of not honouring the majority vote, I wont be signing any online petition as it is a waste of time.

NEWKID 27,431
I was seriously excited the morning after the vote... couldn't believe our votes were really going to make a difference for once... it really felt like a change was happening... now... bored of it.. bored of the whole shite concerning it, realise it makes no odds what you vote... im still grafting away, sorting my own shit out, will make sure I leave a bit for the kids to give them a decent enough start.... going back into my bubble... sorry lads, it's just less frustrating and better for my brain that way!!

Personally I don't feel beat mate, I'm off a council estate and through graft have a decent enough business, a place with a bit of land, and a few other bits and bobs.. the "system" has neither hindered or helped me, like loads of others I've just cracked on and got out what I've put in... im just not a huge moaner about what the government (or anyone else for that matter) should or shouldn't be doing for me, and this leave vote is just another reason why it makes no odds to me.... i hoped for some big changes and thought from a business point of view it may have made life harder for a short period but in the long run was the right option for the country and myself... time will tell, but I won't wait around moaning and groaning as life keeps slipping by.. 5

I fully understand I feel the same its frustrating as F ....We won the battle with the vote not the war ....the next week or 2 we should have a idea of what to expect it may be the last push so hold in there United we stand and all that

Good post mate. My biggest concern is that not enough people are going to demand they see it through. The time is inversely proportional to the interest. They know this and they're running the clock down.

When you say demand to see it through, what exactly do you mean? we voted, what should or could the general public do next? march? riot? sign petitions? they decide in the end, and we keep on keeping on.. lol
