Good question and we can only cross that bridge when we come to it but from what ive seen and know of 25+ years of running dogs....he wont be 1 of them

Hypothetically, let’s say he does decide he doesn’t want to anymore. What will you tell the people that have used him?

Already  a proven stud ? Didn't you think of proving it worthy of breeding through its ability to graft ,rather than his ability to get it's end away... Best of luck

I'm ok pal ,it's of no consequence to me. I also have nothing to gain from seeing the dog work.  Best of luck with the puppies and the Dickinson dog

As I say crack on, your dog ,your choice .

What standards will the bitch have to reach before you let him go to her?

Well the parents dont have to be workers in order for the pups to turn out workers, hancocks lurchers for example- dave and sally hancock will tell you themselves that their lurcher pups come from non working parents, does that answer your question???

I'd say you are just winding people up,I hope so anyway.if not it's a good kick in the bollocks you need.we would have good fox lurchers here that would see work every week and are well tested but would never breed of a dog or bitch till they at least 4

Anyone who uses a 1 year old dog at stud needs to wake up. You can't possibly know what the dog is fully capable of doing or not doing because the dog has only just started its own career. Madness. I wish you all the best with the dog but think you should save this ad for a few years, only my opinion mind

Anyone ever worked a deaf lurcher by any chance?..reason behind the question is I’ve bred a retired dog to a Merle bitch an I took my pup from it the biggest of the lot black and white with two ice blue eyes but I’ve noticed he can’t hear anything bangs or anything like that there’s only a odd reaction to some stuff but his eyesight is 100% very good eyes. I’m just curious because it’s all I have from this old dog and I was thinking could I use the pup lamping and out with terriers any info be [BANNED TEXT]. The father was not Merle only mother...

Hi, We have had no leads on dogs stolen. No sign of them. It was our name , address and telephone number that was put up on gumtree by someone else. They did it 4 times, we got the ads taken down as soon as we saw them and eventually had to get the telephone number barred from gumtree to stop them going up. We also think that both are linked. Either the person putting up the ads were involved or as you said someone saw this and came then and stole dogs.

We are now offering a reward for £600 for the return of all dogs telephone: 079 25455543
