The one 8,547 Posted January 27, 2018 Report Share Posted January 27, 2018 When i first looked at that i felt angry to be honest you keep animals you pay for there needs and treatments , Then i just thought if gullible barstools send in there hard earned cash more fool them , but that's the way to do it a animal always tugs the heartstrings . My own bitch is now at the £1500 mark the only thing the vets are interested about is Are you insured ? when you say no they panic its no about the animal now its one of the best money making machines out there , I've settled my bill and while i'm no on a six figure salary there's nothing i would sooner spend my cash on than getting my bitch better nothing gave me more pleasure than to see he walk up the step into the house unaided and not supported after her leadwalk round the garden . After her last appointment the vet wouldn't believe she was the same dog they wanted to pts and asked to see her in two weeks just to see her amazing recovery , so i chipped in ive to pay another £25 so you can satisfy your curiosity ? , But then i got the offer of more anti inflammatory pain killer on repeat prescription so i didn't have to pay the next consultation fee . My own dog doesn't have designer gear never stayed in a five star hotel but maybe i should fire her pics on social media and see if the money rolls in The only thing this proves to me is that a fool and there money are soon parted 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Rabid 1,936 Posted January 27, 2018 Report Share Posted January 27, 2018 Correct me if I'm wrong, but.... since when was crowdfunding reserved for poor folk, or for anyone for that matter. sure, I think they've got some bloody brass neck on them when they earn such good money in the first place, but I don't see them scamming anyone, in fact, they make it quite clear who they are and what work they do, if folk want to give away their money to them, upto them, it's all out in the open, and some people love giving money away. I don't actually think they have done nowt wrong, maybe immoral, but not wrong, they could and most likely would have paid the bill themselves, yet were asked to set up a giving page so folk could donate. I give money to the rnli, am sure they are worth more than me, but it makes me feel good knowing I have donated to the cause.some donate to the church, the richest biggest landowners about, yet we don't knock those do we.
