whats the best food for lurchers

Recommended Posts

My two get beef mince, chicken, tripe, boiled goats heads, Turkey necks, wings, table scraps, waggs biscuit and sardines pilchards eggs. I will mix mince etc with kibble and they always do well, the reason we feed different types of meat is because I don't like fussy eaters, what we put down they eat and do well on it without costing 50 quid for a bag of kibble, when ever we have had pups they done really well on boiled goats head meat and milk. If any are under the weather then sardines, pilchards have always got them eating again.

Got divorced

think whichever way you feed be it 100% meat , kibble or mix of both consistency is the key to it, how ever it pays to feed the very best consistent diet that you can afford

Lamb ribs and neck, sheep paunch and a lambs heart tonight.

That's the gear ta use dodgy gut types start with one protein type tripe this will settle and heal any gut problems then slowly introduce other proteins chicken ,lamb etc go slowly use tripe has the main base of your barf, healthy gut happy dog and good solid stools  a run of the mill knock about mooching type Lur hermans jukel will hunt all day and night on tripe based  barfs ,just give it time to get in the system takes around six weeks.atb bunnys

Depends on the individual dog mate most dogs iv owned have all done well on turkey necks! I usually feed just raw, I'm lucky enough that my father in-law worked at a deer park hotel he gets me raw pig heads and trotters on a weekly basis along with venison scraps, + red deer and fallow deer heart, kidneys and liver, saying all of that iv had dogs run just aswell on Aldi food
