mattyg 1,862
There’s a guy in South Africa that swims with em,( he may now be dead unsurprisingly). I’d love to do it out of the cage, I think sharks are fascinating and much maligned. But I’d also be shitting myself to see a big white come out of the gloom. THE STIFFMEISTER 15,949
Last summer , in the Caribbean , my boss basically insisted we went for a swim after work. After work being around 8 -9 pm I’m quite a decent swimmer , I’m easily capable of pushing a mile through the water off pat due to my mother’s insistence I went to swim club when I was younger. But im not ashamed to say , as we pushed through the water in the darkness as a group , I heard the jaws theme in every stroke ! 1

Matt Is that not Rodney fox the Australian ? Think he was bitten badly as a teen and has lost the fear . Think the danger lies in not seeing them he said . As long as yoI can see them , your alright

When they figure out how to use breathing apparatus to attack us on land the balance of power will shift to our new shark overlords. RIP Quint... 2

THE STIFFMEISTER 15,949
That’s exactly it w. Katchum we don’t not go lamping in case there’s a werewolf out we don’t think twice about sticking our hands down rabbit holes in case there is an adder there . The ocean is the majority of the earths surface , statistically your more likely to be struck bylightning while simultaneously being ran over by your dog knocking the handbrake off your car . But it’s that what if? The great white holds a fascination for me, they hold so many secrets which in today’s day and age is amazing . Prople don’t know how long they live? How many they are? Why they don’t do well in captivity? Why they nearly all migrate to a certain point in the Pacific location at exactly the same time? A source of fascination to me
