boris b 1
i myself would either give it rest or a half a ibuprofen (some will say dont give ibuprofen but i have many many times done the job but on a different type of injury to this ) . from the pic ot looks nothing to serious but better to air on the side on caution . like snoop dog has said give it a couple of days if you still are not sure go to the vets . keep away from them fuckers tommorrow if you can , a munty cost me £600 quid last boxing day b*****d certainly ramp the price up . dennned 172
does it feel like a small pea, if so it can be a terrible injury ,had it with one of my greyhounds a few year ago, just takes time , but only light exercise only , but if your really worried , i would treat it with some bone radial ,just remember to dilute it first , but if you have access to a laser treat it with that good luck dennned Quote Link to post

skycat 6,173
At least a fortnight lead work only, then try a little run around but only if there is no tenderness, swelling or heat. Any tendon/sprain type injury can take weeks and weeks to heal, and although it might seem better in a few days if you don't treat it properly for a month it will reoccur again and again. Like has already been said: run a cold hose on it for 10 minutes a day or ice pack it every day, twice a day for a week. Quote Link to post
