Gtbaker369 44
Hi all, I’m looking to get a new Scope mounted Torch and seen the Tracer F900 for about £200 for kit. Just wondered if anyone’s had experience with them and are they ok? Cheers

philpot 5,053
It is a great deal of money for a torch compared to the 'Optic Fire' torches I have. I am sure the Tracer is a better torch but is it £120 better........................don't know about that. Phil
big napper 3,629
Try get the f600 mate mine cost £100 2 years ago more than likely a lot less now
Gtbaker369 44
One of the things that's putting me off if you can class it as that, is would I really need the 800m beam compared to the F600 - 200m beam. Plus one thing that got me confused is the 600 has a 200m beam but the F400 white has 300m beam?

Gtbaker369 44
Well that's the thing, ive just put in for my FAC so cant say exactly what itll be going on but it will be a 22 FAC Air Rifle
big napper 3,629
Id have thought 200mtrs would be plenty distance mate
delswal 3,819
200mtrs will cover most FAC rifles from .22 onwards................200mtrs is a long way to be shooting at night,

philpot 5,053
A bit tricky this Phill as I have also looked on their site.....................................hmmmm, not easy. I have always known mine simply as a T20 and T50 but the T20 is not showing at all on their site. The T50 I have is the XC50 and to be honest I think their XC38 is a slightly larger version of my T20. I bought mine on the bay of plenty at better prices than shown on their site and in fact my pal bought this one last week for close to medium distance work and whilst not Optic Fire, it is an Osram torch so it should be fine and as another friend has one exactly the same which he finds spot on, I have no reason to think otherwise :- https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/T20-3Modes-Led-Hunting-Light-NV-Night-vision-Torch-Osram-850NM-IR-18650-Battery/131638442671?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649 Here is the T50 with charger for £52.99 or without charger for £42.99:- https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Opticfire-XC-50-LED-Zoom-Hunting-gun-light-lamp-shooting-torch-NV-IR-T50-lens/272135255138?hash=item3f5c867462:m:mHG3h1A3HZSbk228HQYtAkw Hope that helps.
