He was given an indeterminate sentence, but ordered to be detained until he was " no longer a threat to the public". The decision to release him was made solely by a panel of the parole board, who seem to have decided that the stipulation has been met.............and turned a blind eye to the fact that serving 9 years for the sexual assault of at least a dozen women might be seen by some as 'unduly lenient'. An indeterminate sentence would have allowed for him to be held beyond was is usual for that offence..........which is, I guess, why the judge handed it down ! Sadly, the decision of a parole board cannot be challenged..........not even by the Home Secretary herself. Who was on the parole board can we find out bb?

Wouldn't have thought so mate.............I have no knowledge on this, but I'm fairly sure it's kept confidential, to prevent coersion, blackmail etc - if that's not the case generally, it certainly would be in this case ! And, let's face it, who would want to own up to releasing this f***ing animal ??? Probably all manner of probation officers, social workers, psychologists, psychoanalysts and other woolly minded liberals ! 1

Ah, but an indeterminate sentence with the proviso he served at least 8 years. 8 years isn't long enough as he will always be a danger to the public.

neil82 1,080
parole boards are probably staffed by people with degrees hanging out of their arses who have no idea about the real world outside of the utopia that their university education has drummed into them, any notion that they may be mistaken (rather that plain wrong) is something they cannot comprehend, this is whats wrong with many systems that currently govern how we are supposed to live, the c**ts have no clue what happens in the streets around us but we still keep voting for the same twats who do their utmost to ensure it keeps going on
