Seemingly some lumberjack found it while felling tree's in the US in the 80's. Dog must of chased something up the hollow tree, and got stuck. Scientist said it was there for about twenty years, and got mummified due to acid in the tree hardening the skin, + dried out due to air flowing through the hollow. Looks like a hound of some sort. Has now been identified as Buck, a Bluetick Coonhound entered into the Kentucky man/dog hide and seek championship finals in 1978.
