AKU boots, anyone tried?

Yep Had a pair mate 

good for what I needed , not sure how they’d last for a digging lad though 

what will you be using them for??

but its wet country with me so waterproof a priority

these ones mate , 

pretty comfortable , lightweight , I wouldn’t say they were any more waterproof than a pair of alrbergs but they dried out faster 

for knocking around , walking about on a hill ideal ! 

But they lacked a bit of substance for digging etc quite flimsy in reality when compared to a set of haix etc 

I sold mine on when my job role changed to a lad who would be more on the hoof than me , good boot and I’d have another pair

I wore them on my first tour of Afghanistan, brillant boot I have a pair now for when I am on the door,, like wearing a pair of trainers, as for hunting  never tried them, don’t think they would be as good as a pair of mendils
