is it warm over there now, if so that why you or other brits  , dont bother with traditional  xmas dinner,  i love xmas turkey and all stuff that goes with it , got family in Oz , and they dont bother either , thy just have few ribs, sausages etc on a barbie   on xmas day  , not for me wouldn't  feel like xmas , but i am old bloke 65    stuck in my ways lol

Got the kids involved in preparing Christmas dinner this year, my godson came over to help pluck the turkeys... don't get much fresher than bringing them on yourselves!!

5 bird roast turkey ,goose chicken, pheasant,partridge .Bought though not homemade as we usually do .Time not been on our side lately .

At the insistence of the good Lady, were having turkey.........

There's only the two of us FFS, so naturally she bought one that feeds 6 to 8.........and she's completely overlooked a freezer full of pheasant, duck, partridge and a goose !

I don't know why I bother !

I fuucked up.... the baking dish I bought yesterday for the piglet is 1cm too big for my oven ??? so now I'm running around like a dickhead trying to find one.

It's ceramic mate. Just took it back to the shop and they didn't have the slightly smaller one they had yesterday ?

Just wrap it in foil put it straight on the shelf and put a baking tray in the bottom of the oven to catch the drips,

Cant you buy those tin foil serving plates/baking tray.

They will bend to fit you're needs.

Probably not available in the EU some daft rule banning them as they could pour hot gravy on you lol

Grey mate, that's my plan if I can't source one big enough.

Scot I just had one of those oval serving trays in my hand. Pricey as feck and something about not being oven safe written all over it ? the tinfoil trays are not long enough (40cm) I need min 45cm.
