Hi lads thinking off treating my self to one off these but want some advise and feed back if any good ? Will they be ok to put on a 223? And where is best deal to get one cheers lads

Ive got one on the .222 mate .Very good bit of kit if decent IR added and mounted above .Shot a lot of stuff with mine .The only down side is the focus at range .Mine seems to focus on the nearest object ,even a leaf and won't focus manually on the target. I can still see the target out to 150 but clarity is poor if there's anything between it. For the  money I'd say get one but definitely don't skimp on the IR .Pm Ian on here for best deal I found .

Do you have a doubler on your photon foxdroper makes a world of difference

Might look into that mate .Does it work on the variable scope though .where can you recomend getting it from .

Doublers do make the image much better at range, but the downside for close up work the reduction in field of view is a right pain and makes getting on target twice as long..

Most of my nv shooting is done well under 100 yds so might leave that then

The RT version has a digital doubler so running at x6 until you press the button and hey presto x12. A friend of mine has the RT x6 and says it is much better than the XT version. I have borrowed a 4.5 XT just to try and see if I like it. It would be the RT version if I decide to go this route.
