bigmac 97kt 13,796 Posted December 18, 2017 Author Report Share Posted December 18, 2017 Well as far as i can go at the minute with this old girl need to order the full set of seals or see if viz has any left redid the blueing but its not taking in some parts of the action Paul did say there was some thing spilled on her its bluing lovely on most of her but it will not take on the parts that have had the spillage on her iv washed it with soapy water to remove all the oil but to no avail iv got it now where its gone gray and not black but it was silver at one point lol the stock is all done , Im going to leave her for the time being then strip it back and see how far the black stain has gone in to the stock . but for now she is usable lol atvbjimmy Quote Link to post

If your referring to the rifle on page 1 ,,,15 or 16 posts down its not the same rifle thats a hw100 fitted with an mtc scope and the one above is a webley raider fitted with a mount master scope so if your going to make a funny comment read the thread and dont just look at the pics 1 Quote Link to post

I know I'm a twat lol Not sure you'll get the blueing even mate, once its eaten into metal the chemical will be hard to get off without wrecking the rest of the good blueing.
