Its your choice ?...Yes, but do yopu not care about the pups and what will happen to them if they don't come up to scratch,.......

i have my own maxim....

"TEST MORE, BRED LESS"

Thats what i stick to....i wish others would think before breeding litters...

like some have allready said....if you want a dog for a certain job....buy a pup that is bred from dogs that are capable of that job thereself....tried and tested....

theres no point in breeding off anything that wont do what you want the offspring to do.....the odds won't be in your favour at all....

its much easier and cheaper to buy in a pup....than it is to raise a full litter....just to keep a pup....you dont have the unwanted hassle of finding homes for the rest of the litter either.....theres no stud fee to pay....and you can still continue the rest of the season with your bitch....that won't be carrying a litter of pups for nine week and feeding them for another 6 week.....then you have to get her fit again....it makes sense to me anyway. ;)

Well said Lucky...... Youve only got to take a look at the classified's in the CMW to just see how many litter's are being bred !!!! The other week I think I counted 24 different advert's for litter's.

Now i'm sure there are some GENUINE folk that have been waiting for there bitch to break down for sometime and have had to take there chance to take a litter off her during Mid - season. but unfortunately i bet there's not many like this and are breeding just for breeding sake !!!!!
