Took the old girl out again to a small copse I`ve been watching closely.

             I`ve noticed the pigeons are dropping into this tiny copse around 11-30 am after their first feed.

             We were waiting in a makeshift natural hide I`ve had in place a good fortnight now just by the waters edge.

             Here`s the copse.

             Full gillie suit as well in the hide.

             

             Kaiser retrieving to hand, - he missed nothing.

            

            

            

            Here`s the end result, a nice winters bag of Wood Pigeons with the FWB Sport and good field craft.

Not a word Mitch,   25 p each - but when you shoot a decent number it pays for the pellets !

                     I find the spring rifles far more enjoyable than the pcp`s if I`m honest,( you have to shoot correctly) but if a pest control job has to be done, then pcp it is .

 

                      I really fancy getting a BSF Bavaria .177, or a HW 35 Export .177
