These new SCBs are more fussy than the original version - I don't think that being finer helps, it seems to make it look more busy. 1 Quote Link to post

It does have IR but, it's an odd set up - it's not a dial to illuminate it - there's a button on the end of the parallax knob that you have to tap in the middle. I say it's odd because it's not a push button. I did manage a short trip to the club today - to be fair, the fine ret does work quite well. I still prefer the original though. All in all, it is a good scope Quote Link to post

philpot 5,031
Just remember Jon the issue I had with the NiteSite Viper on my Mamba Lite scopes. Spray some silicon on the inside of the rubber scope connector and allow to soak in overnight. As the recticle focus ring is bulkier than other scopes, you may need to hold the eye bell in one hand and ease the rubber sleeve on with the other as you can damage the scope. My NiteSite sits really well and very sharp on the Lite so should yours mate. Phil 1 Quote Link to post

Cheers Matt I don't know if I'm just used to heavier set ups but, this didn't seem to add a lot to the rifle either - it certainly balances nice. 2 Quote Link to post

mark williams 7,561
I use the old Mamba lite scb scopes - I find them to be excellent hunting scopes. Forgive the photo but there`s the old scb ret`, very effective Quote Link to post
villaman 9,983
A simply dot on the windage would be fine ,but no they had to confuse it with lines , hate them Quote Link to post
