The one 8,494
On one permission the farms down a side road and you come round in a loop to the main road and a mile from the exit there's a picnic area with three benches and bins against a six foot chin link fence it was just to handy for stopping in on the way home putting the rabbits on a table. and gutting them into a bin lol then one night we saw a load of cats behind the fence and started lobbing the intestines over to them they seemed to enjoy them Quote Link to post
mattwhite 1,993
As others have said, it's disrespectful to the quarry and doesn't do hunters any favours at all. Whoever did it is a complete tosser, unless of course it was the fox equivalent of supermarket sweep, in which case you have just f@#×ed his game right up!? Quote Link to post

The one 8,494
No at 2/3 am but I often thought next morning folk going to use the picnic tables must of thought there's been a murder with all the blood Quote Link to post
moxy 617
Things like this don't do shooting sports any good. You could just imagine the drivel spouted by the local media if you hadn't have moved them and they were found by someone else. Within 2 minutes it would be all over social media and the Chinese whispers would escalate into nonsense. It's surprising what you do come across sometimes. I was chain harrowing some land. it has a well used and busy footpath running through it. This was hidden in a molehill at the side of the path. I'm pretty sure the mole didn't drag the rest of it underground and give itself gout. I'm also fairly certain it didn't just drop off! Quote Link to post
The one 8,494
I dont understand folk like that i find a road kill deer it all goes home the dog love the head and legs and even the tripe heart and lungs all thats binned is the jacket and some of guts and i can get that away in a carrier bag wrapped in a black bag in the bin . Stuff like that just gives the press more dirt to sling at us and often the remains will be found by a dog walker who's a anti and will kick up a real stink even if they shouldnt of been on the land in the first place and Oh a fox must of dragged it there wont wash Quote Link to post

I see a lot of pictures of rabbits at the end of a days sport ungutted ,it seems a waste as at that stage they wouldn't be good table food .Unremoved Rabbit guts fills with gas & makes the animal smell bad even if it's being kept for ferret food . Because game dealers can only buy them whole..... Quote Link to post
