Christmas dinner/lunch

Recommended Posts

Do you guys go for the Traditional Turkey or whats you're preference?

Think im gonna just get a chicken this year.

Normally have turkey but last  year most of it went in bin.

Still have all the trimmings. Tbh i enjoy the sage + onion stuffing better than the turkey.

I use sausage meat and mix the sage + onion through it. Amazing  ?

Yup,just the usual this year

You're not wrong there. Bit of leftover ham and a couple of fried eggs over the top, breakfast of kings  Look forward to that more than the Christmas dinner itself

We ain't having turkey this year either. I've ordered a 9kg wren with the butcher I bet that will take some stuffing.

Were not Turkey fans and we generally have 3 or 4 different meat joints and then people can have a choice. Pheasant, beef, lamb and gamon. This year the girls have said that we have got cut back because there is just too much food. The stuff keeps coming like a conveyor belt. It is nice though.

I love roast, and I occasionally enjoy turkey, but it's not a big Christmas thing in my house, we usually have one of our ducks, or a chicken, a joint of pork, just depends what we fancy a few days beforehand.

think this year we may have duck and guinea fowl, as we tried some commercial guineas and looks like they will be ready, am expecting the ducks to come in about 3-3.5 kg each so that's enough for us ?
