Mister Gain 1,764
Got a few photos of carvings which I took on a few visits to Aussie. Excuse the presence of the grandkids. A few from William Ricketts sanctuary in the Dandenong mountains (fcuking place was full of spiders and webs, and it's best not to mess with Aussie spiders) A nice carving from Melbourne Zoo And a couple from the Healesville Sanctuary, Victoria.

Cheers Arry The real ones are even more impressive, but it doesn't pay to get too close to the big surly fcukers LOL, they let you know when you are a bit too close.

Indeed Tillylamp I like to imagine it was some Granddad that died and his ashes scattered beside the river (its on the banks of the Teign) Liked a spliff love his gardening hence the spring onion etc etc and the grand children friends and family left something that reminded them of the person. Perhaps i'm just going of on one. Cheers Arry

Arry 21,428
A few more. Met a old boy he was cycling around the quarry who stopped for a chat, told me he used there when it was a working quarry, very interesting. Thanks for the tip off ArchieHood. This one is about 20 foot high. If your down Dorset way its free, right on top of portland and well worth a visit if you like that sort of thing. Cheers Arry Edited July 12, 2018 by Arry spelling its aways spelling
