ChrisJones 7,975 Posted October 29, 2017 Report Share Posted October 29, 2017 Our locals fit them to frames so as not to drill the roof. They attach the same way a roof rack does. If you need to spot mount it lower down like US plod does. With the amount of rain you get, I wouldn't want to drill the roof because it will fail at some point. 3175darren 1,102 Posted October 30, 2017 Report Share Posted October 30, 2017 One I had fitted to my old Diatsu the water came down the inside of the T bar and screwed the switch up, I tried the suction cup one one the clulight, the system seems good, the similar light force one looks worth a try, don’t think I would drill the roof again, personal preference though.
