Underdog 2,337
The little 22 for Charlie. This large vixen fell to a subbie at 70 yards or so. High lungs complete penetration. She was in season too! U. 7 Quote Link to post

lllluke1 329
As Baldcoot said, shot placement and sensible range, 22lr is deadly Quote Link to post
Deker 3,478
As many of you know I deal with a lot of Domestic foxes, .22lr is very commonly the tool of choice because it ticks all the boxes and works! It's all about selecting the right tool for the right job! 2 Quote Link to post
Triple2 1
Good work, the 22 is more than adequate in the right conditions. Quote Link to post
cragman 2,768
Nice little calibre the .22LR. Very accurate at shorter ranges, good shooting. Leave her out...you might get a dog fox looking for her. Ive put them on top of traps in the past and caught a dog ? Quote Link to post
Brickhill 28
Good shooting UD. Quote Link to post

kenj 131
A thirty yard head on shot in the bib stopped this goose killing vixen. An underestimated rifle, the Magtech 7002 semi auto, firing RWS subs dropped it in one, when it stepped out from the side of a barn into the light. 1 Quote Link to post
just-A-snap 1,269
How far can one shoot it accurately, One Hundred and Fifty, Two Hundred Yards or so? Then it will have plenty of stopping power. As far as I know the limitations with a .22LR is the finger on the trigger at realistic distances. Plenty of powerful rounds to be had for one, and not limited with home load ether.Well done UnderdogAll the very best Quote Link to post

Wish I had, I understand them to be very reliable. 1 Quote Link to post
The one 8,469
i reckon a rimmy will cleanly kill a fox at 100 yards , its a bit early though for her to be in season ?. Quote Link to post

They are indeed, frankly I think they are VERY underrated, they are as cheap as chips as they say, but they work, and are remarkably accurate and reliable. Kenj lives up the road from me and we have been out once or twice with the Magtechs, I'm not sure who got one first, but it may well have been him. I have a limited requirement for a semi, but a requirement just the same, I am mightily impressed with the 7022. This is mine! Edited October 26, 2017 by Deker Quote Link to post
