Hydropotesinermis 724
I watched that thing about the Gunpowder plot on BBC the other night......set in 1609 England.......there was darkies all over the show. One was personal secretary to the chancellor or something......another held some other position. And I'm sat thinking "yeah, I bet that's a true reflection of England in the 1600s" Like come on, I don't give a monkeys about an actors skin colour but at least cast them in context of the age and the time and the thinking of the time........anything else is blatant bias and provokes reactions like this thread. What next, Samuel L Jackson as Cromwells right hand man.......bollocks like ! http://viz.co.uk/diary-samuel-l-pepys/

beast 1,884
There was a remake of the dambusters a few years ago. They changed the dogs name to digger even though one of the crew had actually owned a dog called nigger. Offensive or not people shouldn't be allowed to rewrite factual his story to suit their own agenda. And as for foreign tv presenters even the white ones all have bloody northern or Welsh accents these days. Ridiculous . I can't even understand them
