Anyone else noticed the majority of the armed forces in this programme are from the ethnic minority? More propaganda from the bbc???

Ch4 like to trundle out this muslim bitch in full garb after every terrorist attack in tnis country. Never see her any other time.

The country is f****d imo. I see nothing changing for the benefit of us. Will steadily get worse and worse.and when the day comes when all is lost you will see all the elite politicians mega millionaires retreating abroad to their boltholes.

Nobody watches Our Girl to get a true to life representation of the armed forces! LOL

Didn't the last one finish with some big terrorism plot in Manchester? Aired not long before the real life arena bombing!

fair enough

I'm not taking anything away from what you are saying. I think the world of showbiz is well known for it's equality centred objectives. I was just having a general outburst.

Haven't quite managed to bring myself to watch the second season. What's it like?

Crimewatch producers seem to buck the trend of few ethnics on programs, they have a disproportionately high number of blacks on their program :whistling:

I watched that thing about the Gunpowder plot on BBC the other night......set in 1609 England.......there was darkies all over the show.

One was personal secretary to the chancellor or something......another held some other position.

And I'm sat thinking "yeah, I bet that's a true reflection of England in the 1600s"

Like come on, I don't give a monkeys about an actors skin colour but at least cast them in context of the age and the time and the thinking of the time........anything else is blatant bias and provokes reactions like this thread.

What next, Samuel L Jackson as Cromwells right hand man.......bollocks like !

Just to add, it's funny how nobody feels the need to add a bit of colour to Scottish, Irish or Welsh history........no black Irish republicans in things about the troubles or such like.

It's always the English that have their history subverted.
