Francie 6,368
How come if these ips change regulary, how can they connect dots to an adress, an if your using someone elses wifi, they shouldnt be able to track adress to you, just to the wifi adress? Some providers change your IP address all the time, others keep you on the same one. If you're on a dynamic one where it changes daily, the provider can connect the dots by seeing who had that IP at a particular time on a particular day.
Blackbriar 8,569
My IP says I'm in Coventry (I'm not even near Coventry !). Sometimes, I use Orbit VPN, which bounces your IP all over the world - I've "been" in Germany, Guatemala and California.......changes every time you use it.

neil cooney 10,416
I've heard a rumour that when the mods off of here get together with all their secret handshakes and sashes etc. they have more power than the Masons. Only a rumour mind.
