straight2hand 303
Finally had a good walk with the bitch, recently took her out for a spin but unfortunately with the wind there has been too much rain with it and consequently have not seen too much in the small ventures so far. Driving out and the rain was battering the windscreen, I wasnt getting too excited but at least the wind was holding up. First couple of fields and nothing out, I could feel the squelch underfoot but overtime the rain stopped and the wind kept howling. Then on a nice large field success a small burst of runs on a pocket of the land and 3 rabbits in the bag, by now it was getting drier and the rabbits started to come out to feed, I could feel the confidence in the bitch as she was like a loaded gun trying to hurry me forward, I did my best to settle her down. Next set of fields I could see the ruby reds everywhere -bingo! Loads of squatters ensued and she just edged up the beam with a crouch and a few times just stopped and waited until the bunny bottled it then bang she turned the screw. Fair play to the second to last run, that rabbit deserved to live! she must of turned it 6 times, sometimes you just hold up your hat! So 11 in the bag and Ill fall asleep a happy man. 5 Quote Link to post
