mark williams 7,563
One of my permission, last year, asked me to put my mind to the corvid population around the farm,- which I did if you may remember ? This permission backs onto my house just 500 yds away and is approx.` 27 acres of woodland, pasture and arable land. Just a few sessions here, The main reason I`ve posted this is because tonight, getting in from work, my wife said, " Mark, look what you`ve done getting on top of those dreadful magpies " Two pairs of beautiful Chat Finches feeding from the garden feeder ( raining heavy in the picture), Robbin Red Breast, Black Birds on the lawn again after worms, Blue Tits,- all coming back again . Right hand feeder has a beautiful Chat Finch feeding ( sorry about the rain) - you want to hear these in the mornings singing - like waking up to music from heaven. atb Mark. 9 Quote Link to post

Jonjon79 13,358
That's a cracking result Mark - you couldn't ask for a better endorsement We're quite lucky - we've got jasmin, honeysuckle and a whole bunch of other things well established all down one side of the back garden - there's always little birds in and out. I think they use it for protection. 1 Quote Link to post

mark williams 7,563
Regular visitors now the finches Here`s the weather by the permission I wanted to shoot over today, - top of the road has water coming down from the nearby brook bursting it`s banks and the trees are showing a good stiff wind, not good for accurate shooting at all, so we did a four mile hike around the village instead.
