Wont condemn it but i do think these people are very irresponsible they seem to think its ok for them to go into war ravaged/dangerous areas. Then others have to run risks in rescue attempts. or cri

Over your head that mate   Cheers, D.

We've already got them out this is old news ......

British mercenaries in the past who found themselfs in sticky situations on foreign lands knew they were on there own with no help from our goverment.

Know there is a difference between soldiers and the god squad but some of you seem to think cause they are Brits we should help them.

They are well aware of the dangers before they set foot in the region and imo they made that choice and ignored the warnings and advice not to go. So i dont really have any sympathy for them. They themselfs created the problem and must have knew tge risk involved. No one ordered them to go there, and certainly the goverment didnt want them to go there.

Sorry scot but that's bollocks

If a close protection team were compromised in Iraq, the army would have stepped in , a million percent

It happened regularly and is part of the reason why I hate the big timing c**ts

Maybe iraq but i remember reading about mercenary units in Africa years ago who had to make there own way outwhen were hunted. Maybe its a different policy these days but 70s and 80s they were own there own as they working for a foreign regime and not sanctioned by our goverment.

Its Nigeria ffs they need them alive for money. Well the church have enough money that would make solomon blush. They can quite easily pay it for there safe return and no need for rescue aattempt

but that would encourage more kidnappings.

been paying ransoms on the quiet for years mate.

Absolute words fail me

It was nearly as funny as appointing Saudi Arabia's ambassador to the head of the human rights council.

What's next? Paul Gadd as head of the children's welfare division?
