A dog of mine I bought in a pub twenty years ago and the first Border I owned. He was flea bitten, stunk and tethered on a piece of unravelled nylon rope; I took pity on him...

He caught that fox in the cover we stand in.

Turned out to be a great little dog, lost him to strong quarry...and maybe inexperience. :(

16 yrs old Millet Just after digging Jake on three foxes outta the same spot. A very memorable day with the Terrierman of the Curre at the time.

We lost Jake on a place up North called Hambledon Hill three years later, c**t of a spot, wish we had the Bellman and Flint then.

NUV I love seeing that picture, you scruffy little urchin :11:

Its only human nature to have your favourites me Ive had a soft spot for all my terriers that have got the job done.I have a black dog here that is very rarely dug with a live fox wether that is 12 inches or 12 foot. But the dog that stands out in my mind most is a dog that came to me at about 4 years old.I took him grudgingly from a [bANNED TEXT] I thought he was setting me up,the thing that this dog taught me was believe nothing of what you read and even less of what you hear :D

This dog was to ground for over 24 hours (not trapped) in one of those old brick built land drains we got him out eventualy.

I know you all like the big, the bad and the ugly but this little bitch (all 10.5 inches and 10 pounds of her) never gave an inch to anything she encountered under ground. This is Bonnie after a 7 foot three hour dig holding two foxes at bay. She took some stick but no one bolted.
