A bitch called "fred"?

A mate was telling me he met a guy with a saluki and asked him what lines they were, and he said they were of a pure saluki bitch called "Fred"? I was convinced the sire must have been called it, and he got mixed up but no he insists it was a bitch? Can somebody put us right on this as there is a few riding on it!

The original "Fred" was Mick Taylors black an tan dog,kennel name "Ringsfield Pharo".

Alan Booth(boozer) got a black and tan dog out of him and also called it "Fred" kennel name "Amazing Ali" most of the pure coursing salukis of today are from this strain..............hope this helps

BRAN fred is a red grizzle dog he his in john darcey running dog addition also hes on the salty sooner tape hope this helps
