Not asking for everyone to be on a huge salary born. But if they are prepared to get off there arse and get a job it should be beneficial. No one in work should have to go cap in hand for food.   o

Anyone else think it's a bit of a coincidence that a story like this gets trickled out just at a time when Boris is making a menace of himself to that traitor May ?

I watched reese mogs interview and what he actually said was in these times of austerity its uplifting and heartwarming that the people have set up food banks to help people ... not that he was glad t

Yea and the goverment wont give a proper rise to firemen. Drs etc etc not even giving the ordinary man a fighting chance by introducing a decent living wage. In fact happy to allow them to try and survive on zero contract jobs and visiting food banks.

What a shower of despicable c**ts they are.

Are you referring to Mogg saying the idea of food banks was "rather uplifting" in regards to being charitable? A tad patronising I thought....

You wouldn't think any of them would have the sheer neck too speak of coming up short on the pay stakes, ffs they running a supposed first world country that contains people eating from foodbanks

Have they no dignity or do they really think we that stupid? Oh wait , they know it cos we keep voting for them every year despite nothing substantial in the way of positive results,

I'm with him completely! Seeing people deal with societies problems through voluntary charity is far better than asking the government to do it and shows far more of societies humanity too. For a nation that does nothing but complain about government corruption and waste we still think that what we can do ourselves is better done by them!

You could literally make everyone millionaires and there would still be the need for charity, whether that be private or public funded.

We have charity & help groups for just about everything you can think of Born, it's just stating the bleeding obvious...... It just sounded patronising to me, a bit like saying at least you have a nice tan when you're homeless.......haha, it's an unnecessary observation.......

I do agree with much of your post though....;-)

No more patronising than the opposite stance of saying that such charity is an indictment of society. Socialist/social democrat types think that food banks are a stain on society, libertarians think they show societies humanity and independence.

It just doesn't sound palatable because it comes from the human personification of Toryism and is presented to the ears of the government addicted British public! LOL

Honestly, would it have been taken so badly if it had come from some empathetic working class hero like Corbyn?

I'm still gong with 'patronising' whoever said it haha...

.........I drop off clothes regularly to the clothes bank down the end of the road. It's just an obvious thing to do, you help the needy when given the chance, but I'd feel a bit of a wanker saying how wonderful these things are because it shows our human side & at least I've been given the honour of helping people! Haha....

Its 2017 and imo any goverment in power should be f***ing ashamed these things exist! Its scandoulous and read a report that working famlies use them as much as the destitute.

And some privellaged toff (who i happen to like) saying its a good thing is out of f***ing touch with the people he represents.

its ok for them with there travelling expenses to work subsidised meals second morygages and 400quid a month shopping allowance.

Exactly what do they use there salary for?

buying shares in the post office and making a killing probaly.

I feel they are totally ripping the piss out of us now and shame on us for defending and allowing them to continue. I will never vote again its uttely pointless f**k all changes and there all as bad as each other. Regardless of their politics.
