If it's a genuine health thing I'm all in favour, if it's some kind of appeasement to non pork eaters I'm dead against it........That all I can say....

I hear you mate but I'd take a fair bet that it's got very little to do with improving general health. If they want to improve the health of kids make it so that only 1 parent has to work to afford t

Here's a start, parents.....buy a football not FIFA16 !!

Yeah but you did socks, you said "it's only pork products this school is banning" If this is this the case, then it is bollocks, but I keep rereading the article & seems to mean all junk food? But I've only got this article, I take it you've got additional info? Edited by Accip74

Which brands of fruit squash contain animal fats then? :hmm:

All the ones that contain glycerine derived from pig fat. Plus many more have fats taken from other animals. As you normally say a quick search on Google and it's not hard to find.

A quick Google seems to show only Kia-Ora and Schwepps Orange aren't suitable for vegans, two brands is hardly "a lot".

If that's the case fair enough. I'd first imagine we were talking pre-packaged Ginster type products? They do mention fizzy drinks etc......The article is pretty vague to be fair..... Edited by Accip74

"A school has banned sausage rolls, pork pies, pepperoni sticks and fruit squash"

These are the banned items. These items are pork products.

Yes they are pork, most of that shit is..........but would they allow a ginsters Cornish pasty? That's the big question.....
